About FrontFinders Exploration

A network of independent geologists and exploration specialists serving the mineral exploration and mining industry. More than 200+ projects across six continents, covering desktop reviews, greenfield and brownfield exploration, and development stage work.

Who we are

Why Choose Us?

Globally Mobile, Locally Informed

We work wherever the project is. Network members are based across Europe and North America, with active project experience in Central Asia, Australia, Africa, and South America as well.

Independent Experts, Not a Consulting Pyramid

You get the expert from the first call to the final report. The geologist you meet at scoping is the one who performs the work, signs the document, and answers the phone when something needs explaining. No account managers, no junior staff doing the work while senior staff sign it off from a distance.

Boot Leather on
the Ground

Data interpretation is only as good as the geological understanding behind it, and that understanding comes from time at the field, not time at a desk. Our specialists spend a meaningful share of every year on site.

Test the
Target

We design programmes for decision, not for endless data collection. A target either gets tested or gets retired.

Improve It or
Drop It

We apply that discipline to every project we run. If the data isn't building the case, we say so, and redirect effort to ground that warrants it. Most exploration money is lost slowly on properties that should have been dropped two seasons earlier.

Our Services

01

Project Generation

Building exploration projects from the ground up. We compile open-file government data, historical company datasets, geophysics, and geochemistry, then reinterpret it under current exploration models. The output is a ranked inventory of targets with a clear geological rationale and a defined path to first-pass fieldwork, ready to stake, fund, or take to a partner.

02

Project Evaluation

Independent technical assessment of a property at any stage. Used for acquisition due diligence, JV decisions, earn-in negotiations, financing, and internal portfolio reviews. We assess geological merit, data integrity, prior work quality, and realistic upside at the project's current maturity. The deliverable is a defensible technical position, not a marketing document.

03

Desktop Review

A structured re-reading of everything already on file. Historical drilling, soil and rock geochemistry, magnetics, IP, gravity, mapping, and prior interpretation, integrated as a single system. We flag the gaps, test whether the geological case holds up, and define whether further work is justified. Often the cheapest decision-grade product an early-stage project will produce.

04

Technical Reporting

Reporting and disclosure documents prepared to NI 43-101, JORC 2012, and PERC. Includes independent technical reports, MRE supporting documentation, news releases, and investor-facing technical materials. Written by the geologists who did the work, with figures, sections, and tables that hold up to CP/QP, regulator, and analyst review.

05

Exploration Management

Full programme delivery in the field. We plan, budget, mobilise, and run exploration programmes end to end, or step in to take over a programme already underway.

Decision Support

Better decisions before costly metres

FrontFinders helps teams make clearer decisions before time, capital and drill metres are committed.

01

Clarify the evidence

We validate the drill results, assays and survey data and run a QA/QC review before anything is built on them. The geological model is then constructed or updated on that checked foundation, so the interpretation stands on evidence rather than on the numbers as reported.

02

Rank the opportunity

The project is graded against its style of mineralisation, grade and continuity and the potential scale of the system. Ranking the targets on that basis puts capital behind the ground with the strongest technical case and sets weaker prospects aside rather than drilling them without justification.

03

Reduce technical risk

A technical risk and gap analysis runs across the dataset, covering sampling, QA/QC, the geological model and, where one exists, the resource estimate. It produces a documented list of the gaps and the risks attached to them, which feeds straight into programme design and budget.

04

Support the next move

The work closes with a recommendation and the reporting to support it. Reporting is compliant in accordance with JORC, NI 43-101, PERC or whichever CRIRSCO code applies, and the recommendation states plainly whether to advance, refine, take the project to JV or farm-out, or divest. Board and investor materials are prepared to carry that case.
